Football can be a cruel sport, and unfortunately, Dante Fowler is learning that the hard way.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Jaguars’ rookie defensive end suffered a torn ACL during the team's rookie minicamp, which was also Fowler's first NFL practice. The injury occurred during the first hour of practice.

This is just sad, coming eight days after Fowler was selected with the No. 3 overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft. The All-SEC defensive end/linebacker out of Florida was viewed by many as the top DE in this year’s draft, and was in a perfect situation under Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley. Now, his rookie season is over really before it ever began.
