Bengals expected to meet with Boston College running back Andre Williams

The Bengals will meet with a lot of players. It's usually not indicative on whom they're planning to draft, however it's worthy enough to note.

The Cincinnati Bengals will meet with Boston College running back Andre Williams, according to Matthew Fairburn with SB Nation's Mocking the Draft. The Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars are also expected to meet with Williams this weekend.

Williams, who generated 2,177 yards rushing and 18 scores on 355 carries in 2013, was one of six finalists for the Heisman Trophy (finished fourth in voting) and was named the 2013 winner of the Doak Walker Award -- given to the nation's top running back.

Williams also earned unanimous All-American and All-Atlantic Coast Conference selections last season. ESPN ranks Williams as the seventh-best running back prospect this year. CBS Sports has him at No. 10 and SB Nation's Mocking the Draft lists Williams at No. 9.

Cincinnati enters March with four running backs on the team's offseason roster, from BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Giovani Bernard as the team's 1A and 1B core with Cedric Peerman and Rex Burkhead rounding out the four-man roster. Peerman and Green-Ellis are entering the final year of their respective contracts.

Williams believes himself to possess a combination of speed and power.

"I feel my strong point is that I have a unique combination of speed and power. I’m a bigger back. I’m 230 pounds," Williams said via Boston Herald. "If I were to run a time of 4.3 at 230 pounds, that’s something you don’t see too often. I think in terms of the draft, that would boost me up."
