Unsigned Free Agent: Bengals sign Texas OG Trey Hopkins

The Bengals may have obtained their best UDFA at this stage, reaching an agreement with Texas offensive guard Trey Hopkins.

The Cincinnati Bengals have reached an agreement with University of Texas offensive guard Trey Hopkins, according to Alex Dunlap (who covers the draft and the Longhorns for Roster Watch, Sirius XM and Orange Bloods).

Hopkins was viewed as the 26th-best offensive guard, per CBS Sports. According to ESPN, who ranks Hopkins as the 17th-best guard, he has above-average pass protection skills and average pass blocking. He's also a pre-med major and a four-year honor student...

Hopkins played 50 games at Texas, with 42 starts (28 at left guard, 14 at right guard).
