Bengals adding Wisconsin wide receiver Alex Erickson as undrafted free agent

The Cincinnati Bengals selected two wide receivers in the 2016 NFL Draft, but that isn't stopping them from adding more as undrafted rookie free agents. Per reports, the team is adding Wisconsin wide receiver, Alex Erickson.

The former Badger steadily progressed in his three years on the field, increasing his receiving yards, catches and receiving touchdowns. In 2015, Erickson logged 77 receptions for 978 yards and seven touchdowns, making him a valuable asset to the Wisconsin offense.

Erickson joins Tyler Boyd (second round) and Cody Core (sixth round) as receivers the Bengals have added through the draft process. At 6'0" and 200 pounds, his stock appeared to have risen after a solid Pro Day performance, complete with a 4.44 40-yard dash, but with a pretty deep receiver class, he got lost in the shuffle.
