The Cincinnati Bengals received some good news on Friday with Vontaze Burfict (neck) and cornerback Leon Hall (hamstring) returning to practice on Friday as the team prepares to host the New England Patriots this Sunday.
Burfict was limited on Wednesday but sat on Thursday with a neck. Hall hasn't practiced since suffering a hamstring injury against the Green Bay Packers, during Terence Newman's game-winning fumble return for a touchdown.
Reggie Nelson (hamstring) and Dre Kirkpatrick (hamstring), both of whom were limited on Thursday, continued working on Friday as well.
Unfortunately, defensive end Michael Johnson remains on concussion protocols and hasn't practiced this week. It seems extremely unlikely that he'll play Sunday.
