The Cincinnati Bengals are six-point underdogs this weekend against the Indianapolis Colts, according to the early lines. Cincinnati has already played the Colts earlier this season and were blown out 27-0 in week seven (Oct. 19) at Lucas Oil Stadium. Not to beat a dead Colt horse, but here's Cincinnati's offensive possessions in that game.
After feeling the high of beating Denver on Monday Night Football, Cincinnati reverted back to their primetime struggles Sunday night in Pittsburgh. The offense turned the football over multiple times and the defense and special teams allowed big plays that led to scores.
In addition to Cincinnati's primetime struggles, the Bengals are still winless in the postseason. This will be their sixth attempt during the Marvin Lewis era, losing in the wild card round in 2006 (Steelers), 2009 (Jets), 2011 (Texans), 2012 (Texans) and 2013 (Chargers).
Cincinnati and Indianapolis kick off at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 4.
