Ravens take 3-0 lead on Justin Tucker 38-yard field goal

The Bengals are quickly facing a three-point deficit after Andy Dalton's interception that led to a Ravens field goal.

Andy Lyons

Rough start.

After losing the coin toss and receiving with Baltimore deferring, the Bengals opened at their own 20-yard line after Brandon Tate's 25-yard return. With four wide receivers and Dalton in shotgun, the third-year quarterback floated the football down the right sidelines for Marvin Jones.

The pass was deflected into the air where Corey Graham completed the interception and returned it 28 yards to the Bengals 21-yard line. After a one-yard gain by Ray Rice, Joe Flacco threw consecutive incomplete passes (the first reversed after initially called a completion and the second nearly picked by George Iloka).

Justin Tucker converted the 38-yard field goal to take a 3-0 lead.

That's the first interception that Dalton has thrown after throwing 131 consecutive attempts without a pick. It's also the eighth interception against the Ravens, the most against any team in the NFL.
