The Cincinnati Bengals have lost their third tight end when Alex Smith suffered a wrist injury in the third quarter.

With 13 minutes remaining in the third quarter, Bengals tight end Alex Smith was essentially crawling off the field in obvious pain. Laying on his back on the sidelines, trainers began to work his right shoulder.

Eventually the team announced that Alex Smith suffered a wrist injury and was questionable to return.

Later the team announced that he won't return.

Bengals offensive tackle Dennis Roland and Orson Charles have been splitting a few snaps.
