The Bengals continued to stockpile undrafted rookie free agents on Sunday, continuing with former Notre Dame wide receiver, John Goodman.

Even though the dust is settling from the three-day NFL Draft extravaganza, teams are still adding talent with the players who weren't fortunate enough to hear their name called during those three days. The Bengals are finalizing their last few slots for these undrafted free agents.

The newest player into the fold, is apparently John Goodman (not that one), former wide receiver of Notre Dame.

Goodman has good size at 6'3" and 215 pounds, but had limited stats in his senior year. He had just seven catches for 159 yards and three touchdowns. It looks like he will have an uphill battle to make the team, but could be a candidate for the Practice Squad as a developmental player in the coming years.

The Cincinnati Bengals are still signing college free agents, reportedly bringing Arkansas cornerback Darius Winston.

According to NFLDraftMonsters.com, Arkansas cornerback Darius Winston is headed to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Winston is reportedly the second cornerback signed as a college free agent by the Bengals, including Stanford cornerback Terrence Brown -- the Bengals won't make an actual announcement until early next week (possibly Sunday night).

Per National Football Post:

Winston has a very quick athlete and can get down the field and sideline to sideline quickly. Winston will blow coverage on a consistent basis as he turns his hips wide and does not flip his hips quickly enough to recover fast enough. He does have the quickness and speed to recover and get down the field, but if the QB sees the blown coverage quickly enough, he will not have the chance to recover. He has poor tackling skills and will go at the ball carriers legs, making his vulnerable to missed tackles. Overall, Winston does not have the skill set needed to be an effective DB at the next level. His speed will get him looks and may be a guy that you can use in special teams, but he will need to improve his strength and improve his tackling.

The Cincinnati Bengals doubled their list of rookies, reportedly signing 12 undrafted free agents, some notable.

Gil Brandt with NFL.com listed the best ten undrafted free agents, broken down per position. Following the intense couple of hours following the NFL draft where college free agents field phone calls from interested teams, the Bengals may have snagged several good ones.

According to reports, we have the Bengals reaching an agreement with 12 undrafted free agents. Keep in mind that the Bengals won't release the official list until later and usually there's one or two players on these lists that change their minds or were erroneously reported in the first place. It's not an exact science.

Cincinnati reportedly reached an agreement with three players that are listed at their respective position in Brandt's top-ten ranking. Auburn running back Onterio McCalebb, who ran a 4.34 40-yard sprint during the NFL combine, ranked No. 8. Indiana defensive tackle Larry Black Jr. ranked No. 6 and Minnesota cornerback Troy Stoudermire ranked No. 5.

Virginia Tech linebacker Bruce Taylor is another notable reported signing, who finished last season with 5.5 quarterback sacks and 10.5 tackles for loss. Taylor was also named an honorable mention to the Coaches All-ACC team.

Brown, an honorable mention All-Pac in 2012, announced that he was forgoing his senior year to join the NFL. Unfortunately he wasn't drafted this weekend, making him an undrafted free agent.

Brown finished the season with 65 stops (fourth on the team) and a team-high 47 solo tackles. A marque game helped him beat No. 2 USC (at the time) with seven tackles, one for loss with an interception.

OptimumScouting.com ranked Brown as the No. 42 cornerback prospect during the NFL draft.

Rule of Tree (SB Nation's Stanford website), wrote of Brown's Pro day in March:

Brown had nice agility numbers at Pro Day, posting a good shuttle run time as well as a big vertical leap (36.5 inches). It's hard to say that he's better than a late-round prospect at this point, but I think he probably earned a few high marks from scouts. Last year, Johnson Bademosi's good pro day earned him a spot with the Browns, and, well, Brown could easily do the same thing.

Coming out of a small school, Chappelear didn't receive much attention until his pro day, where he lit it up in front of NFL scouts. Chappelear has great size for a defensive end at 6'5" and 275 pounds and really fits the mold that defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer covets. Moreover, he appears to also have the strength and speed necessary to survive in the NFL. According to an article from the Maryville Daily Forum, Chappelear turned in a reported 4.7 40-yard dash time, added a 37 inch vertical jump, and put up an amazing 38 reps on the bench press--numbers good enough for the top five in some cases at the NFL scouting combine.

If Chappelear can put it together in Zimmer's defense, they might have found a real diamond in the rough.

Taylor is an inside linebacker and will likely compete to back up current starter Rey Maualuga. He has some injury concerns after missing time due to a Lisfranc injury in his right foot during his junior year, but possesses decent size for an NFL linebacker. His 40-yard dash time was a very pedestrian 5.01 seconds, however, which is probably why he wasn't claimed during the draft.

Thanks to head coach Frank Beamer and long-time coordinator Bud Foster, the Hokies have become a regular contributor to NFL defenses. Virginia Tech has had at least one defender drafted each spring since 1999, one of only a half dozen colleges to achieve that feat.

Taylor suffered a Lisfranc injury in his right foot eight games into his junior season. He earned honorable mention All-ACC honors despite missing four games, making 53 tackles, eight for loss, and five sacks. He started every game the previous year, leading the team with 91 tackles, 15.5 for loss, six sacks, and four pass break-ups, after playing in six games as a reserve in his redshirt freshman season (six tackles). Coaches considered playing Taylor in his first year on campus, moving him from linebacker to defensive end, but a shoulder injury prevented it. As a senior, in 12 games, Taylor racked up 76 tackles (10.5 for loss) and 5.5 sacks. He was named a honorable mention to the Coaches All-ACC team for the second consecutive year.

Per Dane Brugler with CBSSports.com:

Stoudermire has good straight-line speed with the physical nature to hold up in bump-and-run coverage, but he needs to do a better job turning his head and locating the ball downfield. Listed at only 5-10, Stoudermire lacks ideal size for the position and looks maxed-out physically, but he doesn't shy from contact in run support. He is more of an athlete than technically-refined cornerback, but his raw speed and return ability will give him a chance at the next level, probably as an undrafted free agent.

The Bengals continued their undrafted free agent signings with an offensive lineman from Auburn in John Sullen.

The Bengals have continued to sign the prominent college players that went undrafted in this year's draft. They seem to be bolstering their offensive line, particularly towards the latter part of the draft. Such is the case with one other undrafted player that they have apparently brought in. According to multiple sources, the Bengals have brought in Auburn offensive tackle John Sullen.

At 6'5" and 315 pounds, Sullen is described as a "big ugly". Here is the scouting report on Sullen from NFL.com:

STRENGTHS

Tall, long, powerful guard prospect with a thick overall build. Plays with a wide base. Often comes low and hard out of his stance to gain leverage despite his height. Better feet than his build would indicate, effective as a zone-blocker and can execute a reach-block surprisingly well to get the angle. Mirrors while engaged in pass pro, brings a punch, and anchors strong against bulls. Controls his man with his upper body on zone or power run plays. Has intensity to drive defenders to the ground when gaining the advantage.

WEAKNESSES

Height is a disadvantage in the leverage game if he’s unable to maintain bend. Sticks to linebackers on combos, but simply lacks agility to adjust to quick defenders in space. Mirroring one-on-one against quicker NFL tackles might be an issue, must prove lateral agility and recovery speed if missing his punch.

NFL COMPARISON

Most thought that Sullen would go on Saturday, day three, but the Bengals are the beneficiaries of a player falling later than expected. Sullen will be competing for a roster spot and/or a potential opportunity to be on the team's practice squad as a developmental player.
