The dramatics from Week Two around the NFL continued in Houston on Sunday. As we updated earlier, the Titans took an eight-point lead with around two minutes to play, but gave it up when Houston drove late and tied it up with a touchdown and two point conversion. After another missed field goal by Houston which would have won it, the game went to overtime.

The Texans drove down the field on a couple of great plays by rookie receiver DeAndre Hopkins and scored a touchdown to seal the game. Had they only scored a field goal, the Titans would have had an opportunity with the ball, but Hopkins and the Texans quelled any hopes of that on a short jump-ball catch to end it. It was one of a handful of great finishes in the early games and the second in a row by the Texans in 2013 to bring them to 2-0.

The Green Bay Packers, Cincinnati's next opponent, hopefully got all of the absurd passing yards out of their system.

Despite a fourth-quarter surge scoring 13 points, the Washington Redskins 18-point loss to the Green Bay Packers was actually much worse than it appeared. Considering that the Packers had secured a 31-0 lead with 8:16 remaining in the third quarter, the game was nothing more than a formality of the absurd.

Let's start with Aaron Rodgers posting a league-high 480 yards passing, four touchdowns and passer rating of 146.0. Twenty of his 34 completions targeted James Jones and Randall Cobb, who combined for 306 yards receiving. Jordy Nelson added 66 yards receiving but a game-high two touchdown receptions.

Robert Griffin III had a strong outing, but a little too late to make a difference. Washington's first seven possessions (excluding the knee at the end of the first half) resulted in five punts, an interception and missed field goal. It wasn't until the Packers took a 31-point led that the Redskins capped their possessions with touchdowns, likely the result of soft coverages forcing underneath throws on time-consuming possessions.

The Packers will head to Cincinnati next week at 1-1.

The San Diego Chargers secured a 28-7 lead last week against the Texans only to watch Houston respond with 24 unanswered points during kickoff weekend, losing by three points on a last-second field goal.

They weren't going to lose it this time.

After securing a ten-point lead with over ten minutes remaining in the third quarter, the Eagles and Chargers game turned into an action-packed turn-based video game, with 40 points scored in the second half -- including the 23 in the fourth quarter. San Diego wiped out the fourth quarter clock, but much of that has to do with Chip Kelly's up-pace tempo.

The story is the passing game between the two teams. Philip Rivers and Michael Vick combined for 847 yards passing, five touchdowns on 60 completions. Both teams had two 100-yard receivers (Eagles: DeSean Jackson, LeSean McCoy... Chargers: Antonio Gates, Malcolm Floyd) while Eddie Royal caught all three of Rivers' touchdown throws.

Floyd was taken off on a stretcher after being sandwiched on a hit by Nate Allen and DeMeco Ryans. According to reports, he was moving his legs and fingers while being removed from the game.

The insane games of Week Two continued in upstate New York. The Buffalo Bills hosted the Carolina Panthers and were losing most of the game on Sunday afternoon. After an up-and-down day on offense, the sleeping giant awoke late in the fourth quarter.

Bills rookie quarterback, E.J. Manuel looked cool under pressure late in the game and almost ran in for a score with six seconds remaining in the game, but decided to spread the wealth on the next play. Manuel found an inexplicably wide-open Stevie Johnson and hit him for the game-winning score with two seconds remaining. It was a great moment for the first round pick and he showed his emotion after the play by taking a knee and holding his head in his hands.

The Bills get to 1-1 after losing a heartbreaker last week against the Patriots.

The Baltimore Ravens secured their first win of the 2013 regular season, and it was ugly.

The Baltimore Ravens may have secured their first win of the 2013 season, but it wasn't pretty.

During the Baltimore's initial 11 possessions (excluding the knee to end the first half), the Ravens punted six times, missed two field goals, and lost a fumble.

In the end, all Baltimore needed was an 80-yard possession to open the second half to take a 7-6 lead with a little fourth quarter padding, adding a second score and a 14-6 lead by the 8:57 mark. Torrey Smith led the Ravens with 85 yards receiving while Baltimore's rushing offense averaged a mediocre 2.8 yards/rush.

Cleveland was unable to capitalize on Baltimore's struggles, turning in an offensive performance that was even more offensive than the Ravens.

Of Cleveland's 12 possessions, eight ended in punts, two turnovers on downs, and two converted field goals -- both in the first half. Of their 15 third down opportunities, Cleveland converted four -- which is actually an upgrade after going 1/14 last week against the Dolphins. Neither offense reached the 300-yard mark.

The victory wasn't without it's cost. Midway through the third quarter, running back Ray Rice departed with a hip injury while cornerback Jimmy Smith showed concussion symptoms on a nasty collision during a fourth quarter incomplete pass down field.

Rice posted a 2.8 yard/rush average on 13 carries before his injury. Browns quarterback Branden Weeden also left the game with a thumb injury, replaced by backup quarterback Jason Campbell late in the fourth quarter.

The Bears hosted their division foe Vikings and won the game with a touchdown drive engineered by quarterback Jay Cutler.

You may want to start calling the 2013 Chicago Bears "The Cardiac Kids". After skating by the Bengals last week at home, the football gods were on their side again in an all-important divisional matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Though the game's setting was an ugly, rain-soaked Soldier Field, the game had plenty of fireworks through the dreariness.

After the Vikings coasted to a six-point lead in the final minute of the game on a field goal, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and Co. took the field. Cutler sliced and diced the Vikings defense and threw a miraculous touchdown pass to tight end Martellus Bennett with ten seconds remaining.

The Bears, after hosting two consecutive home games, start the season at 2-0. It's quite a start for rookie head coach, Marc Trestman.

It's been an ugly one in Houston between a couple of AFC South foes. Jake Locker, quarterback of the Titans, and Matt Schaub of the Texans have both had a rough go of it in a smash mouth type of game. A fourth quarter touchdown reception by Titans tight end, Delanie Walker brought them the lead at 17-16.

On the ensuing possession, Schaub was picked off by Tennessee cornerback Alterraun Verner and he returned it to the house to extend to an eight-point lead on the road. The play appeared to have some major miscommunication by the Houston offense, as Schaub threw the ball towards the sideline while the receiver kept going upfield.

The Texans have the ball once again late in the fourth.

Next week the Cincinnati Bengals will play host to the Green Bay Packers, who are currently handling the Washington Redskins with relative ease.

The Packers have scored on four of their opening five possessions for the game, including three touchdowns to jump out to 24-0 second quarter lead with just over seven minutes remaining in the first half.

Aaron Rodgers has completed 19 of 23 passes for 264 yards and three touchdowns already with James Jones accounting for 118 yards and six receptions.

Green Bay's defense has held Washington to four straight punts with the Redskins longest possession going 20, three, 47, and 22 yards.
