The Bengals face the Jets at home and needless to say, we should all be nervous that the Bengals treat this rookie QB like they treat most rookie quarterbacks. To the game of their young NFL life so far. Let's see what Tecmo thinks is going to happen...
The Bengals receive the ball first, and on the first play of the game Andy Dalton hits A.J. Green for a big gain.
and then this happens!
The Bengals keep their composure and Dalton finds Mohamed Sanu for a touchdown.
The Bengals defense comes out tough and forces the Jets to a field goal on their first drive.
The Bengals fail to move the ball on their next possession and are forced to punt. At the end of one, the Bengals lead the Jets 7-3.
The J-E-T-S then move the ball with ease and Chris Ivory finds the endzone to give them the lead.
The Bengals ensuing drive stalls on an Andy Dalton scramble and Mike Nugent hits a field goal to tie up the game. At the half it is all tied up 10-10.
Halftime
The Jets have the ball to start the second half and fumble. The ball is scooped up by Taylor Mays for the Bengals.
The Jets play solid defense and Demario Davis sacks Andy Dalton. The Bengals are again forced to a field goal, but this time Nugent misses wide left.
The Bengals play some defense of their own as Vontaze Burfict records a sack and force the Jets to punt.
The Bengals drive hurts as Giovani Bernard is lost to an injury. The Bengals still manage to get 3 more points though.
James Harrison and the Bengals D force the Jets to punt again.
At the end of 3 the Bengals are on top 13-10.
Filling in for A.J. Green, Andrew Hawkins scores on a long pass to put the Bengals up 10.
The Jets answer right back with a pass from Geno Smith to Stephen Hill.
It proves to be too little too late as the Bengals top the Jets 20-17.
