This week the Bengals hope to bounce back from their embarrassing loss to the Browns. They need to bounce in a big way as they are facing an undefeated New England Patriots team that is known to beat up on the boys in stripes.
Lets see what our good friend Tecmo thinks is going to happen in this game.
The game opens with the Patriots receiving the kick, Tom Brady begins his day with an interception that puts the Bengals in great field position. The Pats D plays tough with Chandler Jones recording a sack.
Andy Dalton, trying to atone for last week, completes a long pass to A.J. Green for a Bengals touchdown.
The ensuing Patriots possession may be the most devastating series in the history of the franchise. In this one series, 3 Patriots Starters are lost to injury.
The Patriots are forced to kick a field goal and the first quarter comes to an end with the Bengals leading 7 - 3.
Andy Dalton forces a ball and is picked off. Ryan Mallett returns the favor for the Pats. Nothing lost, nothing gained.
Once again, A.J. Green finds his way to the end zone and the Bengals defense is beginning to apply more pressure on the Patriots.
Mallett throws another pick and the Bengals drive down for a field goal.
At the very end of the half, the Patriots are again crushed by an injury. Steven Ridley is lost and the Bengals lead 17 - 3 at the half.
Marvin Jones takes the opening kickoff for a touchdown and again, lightning strikes the Patriots.
The Patriots finally get into the endzone and their defense steps up, forcing the Bengals to punt.
The loss of Brady shows as Mallett throws another interception. The Bengals strike for the third time on the A.J Green from Andy Dalton connection.
Leon Washington returns the kickoff for a score to bring the game close. The Bengals lead at the end of 3 by the score of 31 - 17.
The Bengals eat clock and move the ball on the ground getting Giovani Bernard a score. Once again, Leon Washington returns the kickoff for a touchdown.
The Bengals give the ball back to the Patriots and as time expires they get one more touchdown from Michael Jenkins to make the score closer than the game actually was.
Bengals win and once again the fans are happy.
