Tecmo Bowl Futures - Ravens Vs. Bengals

In the final game of the season, the Bengals face the Ravens for position in the playoffs. For the Ravens, they need to win to stay in the hunt. For the Bengals, a win and some other teams losses mean they can have the number 2 seed.

Lets see what Tecmo thinks is going to happen...

The Ravens start with the ball and have no trouble moving down the field. Joe Flacco hits Dallas Clark for the touchdown. What may come back to haunt though is the Ravens miss the extra point.

On the Bengals first possession, Andy Dalton throws an interception. Michael Johnson attempts to wreak havoc on Flacco.

The Ravens again move the ball through the air and this time Torrey Smith finds the end zone.

The Bengals are quickly playing themselves out of this game. On their next possession the Ravens are crushing the backfield. Back to back sacks from Haloti Ngata and Arthur Brown force the Bengals to punt.

At the end of one, the Ravens lead 13 - 0.

Another long pass to open up the 2nd quarter to Dallas Clark sets up the Ray Rice touchdown.

Finally the Bengals show life as Giovani Bernard breaks a long run for a touchdown.

But, the Ravens answer right back on a connection from Flacco to Torrey Smith.

The Bengals move into field goal range in the final seconds of the half for a Mike Nugent field goal.

At the half the Ravens are on top 27 - 10.

The Bengals start with the ball in the second half, but lose it on a Mohamed Sanu fumble.

The Ravens are forced to punt back to the Bengals and Mike Nugent adds another field goal.

At the end of the third, the Ravens still lead by two touchdowns 27 - 13.

Another Michael Johnson sack forces the Ravens to punt to the Bengals.

Giovani again breaks a long run and gets to the end zone to close the gap. But, time is running out.

The Ravens get a couple first downs to keep the clock ticking and the Bengals chances look slim. And then James Harrison happens. Harrison forces a fumble and returns it to give the Bengals great field position with under 40 seconds left in the game.

As time expires, Giovani is able to find the endzone to send this game into overtime.

The Ravens win the toss in overtime and take the ball. A Michael Johnson sack stops the Ravens on a 4th down conversion attempt and the Bengals take over.

One long pass to Sanu and the Bengals attempt a field goal.

Bengals complete one of the best comebacks in Tecmo Super Bowl history to beat the Ravens!
