Tecmo Bowl Futures - Patriots Vs. Broncos - Playoffs

You can go anywhere on the web and find what the experts think the outcome of any game will be. I have my own expert. She was born in 1991 and has had my heart ever since. Her name, Tecmo Super Bowl.

In the AFC Championship the Denver Broncos host the New England Patriots. While the media will make this game all about Manning and Brady, I want to see how Tecmo thinks the game will go down.


The Patriots start with the ball and on the first drop back, Tom Brady is hit and fumbles the ball away.

Denver tries to move the ball on the ground but Knowshon Moreno is hurt and out for the game. The Broncos are forced to settle for a field goal try.

Wide right.


Von Miller leads the Broncos defense and gets to Brady for a sack. Julian Edelman is hurt on the play and out for the game.

New England is forced to a field goal try and they convert.

Demaryius Thomas finds a ton of room to run after the catch and gets the Broncos into field goal range.


At the end of one the Patriots lead 3 - 0.


The Broncos attempt a field goal and miss again.

Danny Amendola takes a Tom Brady pass in for a score and the Patriots are on top 10 to 0.


Peyton Manning can not find a rhythm and the Broncos are forced to punt.

Danny Amendola quickly adds his second touchdown of the day.


At the half, the Patriots lead 17 - 0.


To open the second, Manning again finds Thomas and the Broncos finally get on the board.

The Broncos defense forces a Tom Brady interception and then the unthinkable happens. Peyton Manning is sacked and hurt.

The Broncos manage to attempt a field goal and this time they convert.

In a flurry, Amendola scores on a one play touchdown and then Trindon Holliday returns the kickoff for a score.

At the end of three, the Patriots still lead 24 - 17.


A New England fumble gives the Broncos life and Thomas makes sure to haul in the touchdown catch.

The Patriots settle for a field goal on their next drive and miss wide left.

Demaryius Thomas moves the Broncos down the field when he hauls in a wide open pass. In a bit of irony, Wes Welker catches a pass that puts the Broncos on top.

Denver makes an incredible comeback without the services of Peyton Manning. Broncos are in the Super Bowl.
