To open the second, Manning again finds Thomas and the Broncos finally get on the board.
The Broncos defense forces a Tom Brady interception and then the unthinkable happens. Peyton Manning is sacked and hurt.

In a flurry, Amendola scores on a one play touchdown and then Trindon Holliday returns the kickoff for a score.
At the end of three, the Patriots still lead 24 - 17.
A New England fumble gives the Broncos life and Thomas makes sure to haul in the touchdown catch.
The Patriots settle for a field goal on their next drive and miss wide left.
Demaryius Thomas moves the Broncos down the field when he hauls in a wide open pass. In a bit of irony, Wes Welker catches a pass that puts the Broncos on top.
Denver makes an incredible comeback without the services of Peyton Manning. Broncos are in the Super Bowl.
