Former Bengals riding the workout circuit

Taking a look at a few former Bengals who are making the rounds on the workout circuit. One former Bengal (at least during training camp in 2013), found a home in New York... the other New York.

Call us sentimental if you must... or call us Nancy. We like keeping up with our old crew.

Former Bengals running backs Brian Leonard and Chris Pressley worked out for the Tennessee Titans this week, alongside cornerback Brandon Ghee. The New York Jets signed fullback John Conner and the Texans worked out R.J. Stanford.

Leonard signed a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2013, posting 182 yards rushing on 47 carries (the most in his career since 2007, his rookie season) with 29 receptions that generated 179 yards receiving. His contract expired after the season and he's been a free agent since.

Cincinnati released Chris Pressley on Dec. 10, 2013 after he was placed on the team's PUP list with a knee injury (a torn ACL against the Eagles on Thursday Night Football in '12, if I recall). Rather than using IR or occupying a spot on the 53-man roster, they released him. Pressley spent some time in Cleveland but was released on May 19 (about a month after signing) after the Browns signed several tryout players following their rookie minicamp.

Brandon Ghee, who busted his ass only to face constant durability issues, signed a two-year deal with San Diego during the offseason, but never made it through final cuts.
