Last month reports surfaced that former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson was trying to find a team to play for, even looking at the Canadian Football League. At one point he was hoping to sign with the B.C. Lions. Nothing came of it. Johnson, who has been out of football since being publicly released on HBO's Hard Knocks in '12, will work out this week with the CFL's Montreal Alouettes.

The Alouettes are holding minicamp, which Johnson will participate in.

Johnson owns virtually every major receiving record in Cincinnati. They are (but not limited to):

Total receptions in a career (751)
Total yards receiving in a career (10,783)
Total receiving touchdowns in a career (66)
Most 100-yard games in a career (31)
Most 100-yard games in a season (5 - tied with eight players)
Most yards receiving in a season (1,440)
Most yards receiving in a game (260)
Most receiving touchdowns in a game (3 - tied by many)
