When the Cincinnati Bengals signed tight end Kevin Brock and punter Zolton Mesko, they also worked out a handful of players for a de facto competition at tight end and punting.

Cochart was a former Bengals undrafted free agent, active for 10 games in 2011 with five career receptions, 44 yards receiving and a touchdown. Cochart was claimed off waivers in 2012 by the Dallas Cowboys when Jason Witten was recovering from a lacerated spleen. He returned to their offseason roster in 2013 but was released during August cuts.
Steve Maneri and Billy Bajema are free agent tight ends and T.J. Conley is a former punter with the Jets, Vikings and Browns.
