Who is Beau Yap?
Well that's a good question.
Yap was named a second-team member of the All-MW (Mountain West Conference) as a junior in 2013 with some publications giving him first-team honors. He started all 13 games as a senior and secured 45 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, a forced fumble, fumble recovery (leading to a touchdown against Northern Iowa), seven quarterback pressures and a pass breakup. Yap was named team MVP against San Jose in 2014, scoring eight tackles and a quarterback sack.
During his pro day on March 19, Yap ran a 4.84 40-yard dash and bench pressed 225 pounds 24 times.
