The Bengals are practicing again on Thursday and are getting ready for their huge Monday Night Football showdown with the Steelers. The team is relatively healthy coming off of the loss against the Bears in week one and it appears that some of the wounded are back and practicing.

According to Joe Reedy of The Cincinnati Enquirer, left tackle Andrew Whitworth is fully participating in practice after missing significant time this preseason with a knee issue. Whitworth had a spring cleanup procedure done and the staff had been rested him through the season opener. Whitworth recently spilled the beans on needing a second minor procedure done on the same knee, which was the likely reason that he was held out of the game against the Bears.

Also returning to practice is embattled cornerback, Brandon Ghee. He is buried on the cornerback depth chart by a trio of veterans and is likely to challenge second-year man Dre Kirkpatrick for time on special teams. Kirkpatrick had an up-and-down afternoon in those duties Sunday, which included a costly penalty before the half.

Linebacker Vontaze Burfict seems to be participating in a limited fashion according to Reedy, likely due to a knee bruise he sustained on an interception of Jay Cutler. His injury doesn't sound serious at first blush and Burfict returned to the game after the play, but the Bengals will likely let this play out over the next few days.
